Editorial coaching since 2014

Coach for the career, wellness, and life you actually want.

Finansaldenetci is a quiet, rigorous coaching practice for thoughtful people navigating inflection points — a promotion, a pivot, a season of burnout, a search for meaning. We slow down so you can move forward with clarity.

Our Philosophy

A practice, not a productivity hack.

Most coaching promises transformation in six weeks. We've never believed in that. The work that actually changes a career — or a life — is patient, honest, and slightly uncomfortable. It asks you to question the story you've been telling yourself about what you want and what's possible.

We work one-on-one, in long arcs, with executives, founders, creatives, and quiet overachievers who have succeeded on the outside and wondered, quietly, whether it was the right kind of success. Our coaches are ICF-credentialed, editorially trained, and relentlessly practical — we don't traffic in vision boards.

What we offer is harder, and rarer: a thinking partner who will sit with you in the mess, and help you find the next true thing to do.

Coaching Pillars

Three rooms. One whole life.

We work in three interconnected domains — the professional, the personal, the physical — because pretending they're separate is the thing that got most of our clients into trouble in the first place.

Executive & Career Coaching

For directors, VPs, and founders at the edge of a next move — promotion, board seat, exit, or a candid re-evaluation of whether this is the work you want to be doing at all.

Life Design & Transitions

For sabbaticals, relocations, divorces, empty nests, and the quieter midlife question: what now? A spacious process for naming what matters and building a life around it.

Editorial Career Writing

An adjunct to executive coaching: we help you write the LinkedIn pivot, the board bio, the founder narrative, or the keynote talk. Voice work, not just wordsmithing — in collaboration with our editorial team.

Client testimonial

I came in looking for a promotion. I left with a different career, a steadier marriage, and a relationship with ambition I can actually live inside. Elif didn't give me a plan — she gave me a vocabulary.

Why Finansaldenetci

What makes this practice different.

We've turned down partnerships with wellness apps and avoided the conference circuit on purpose. Here's the shape of how we work.

01 / DISCIPLINE

Long engagements, not weekend retreats

Most of our work runs 6–14 months. Real change is not an event; it's a season of practice with someone holding the frame.

02 / LITERACY

Coaches who read, and write

Every senior coach on the team maintains an editorial practice. We bring intellectual seriousness to work that often gets sentimentalized.

03 / DISCRETION

No testimonials with last names

Most of our work happens behind closed doors. We protect our clients' privacy absolutely — including from case studies on our own marketing.

04 / INTEGRATION

Body, mind, and the calendar

We work with physicians, sleep specialists, and trainers when the work calls for it. Coaching that ignores the body is, increasingly, malpractice.

How it works

From first conversation to a year of change.

Our intake process is designed to be thorough on the front end, so the actual work can move at pace. Here's the arc.

Discovery call

30 minutes, complimentary, with our intake lead. We listen, and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.

Coaching intake

A 90-minute deep-dive with a senior coach and a written brief on what we heard and how we'd approach the work.

Matching

You're paired with one coach for the duration. We don't rotate, and we don't assign junior people to senior clients.

Bi-weekly sessions

Eight sessions over four months, with asynchronous support, written reflections, and quarterly review meetings.

Renewal & closure

Most clients renew once. A small number stay for years. Either way, we end well — with a written summary you keep.

In clients' words

Letters from the work.

Names below are first-name only, by mutual agreement. We take discretion as seriously as the coaching itself.

"I had worked with two other coaches before — both competent, neither transformative. The difference here is the rigor. Elif reads between my own lines. Six months in I am a more honest, less busy version of myself."

Marta R.
Founder, Series B fintech · Lisbon

"The work wasn't always comfortable — Yılmaz pushed me on the stories I'd been telling about my career for fifteen years. I resigned from a job I was good at and started a firm I love. I am a different father, too."

James L.
Partner, law firm turned founder · London

"I came in with a perfectly good life and a vague sense of staleness. I left with a sabbatical plan, a rebuilt sleep schedule, and — most surprisingly — the courage to say no to a board seat. Worth every lira."

Selin A.
CMO, consumer brand · Istanbul

Begin with a conversation, not a commitment.

Our intake lead holds a free 30-minute call every Friday. No pitch, no funnel — just a chance to talk through what you're navigating, and for us to be honest about whether coaching is the right next step.
